Hosted by the USS Republic NCC-1371, Treklanta is an annual Star Trek convention based in Atlanta, Georgia, that places special emphasis on fan-based events, activities, programming and productions.  Treklanta is the home of the Miss Klingon Empire Beauty Pageant, the Treklanta Star Trek Fan Film Festival and The Bjo Awards.
Treklanta 2020, originally scheduled to be held May 1-3 at the Atlanta Buckhead Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Chairman and Board of Directors are committed to holding some kind of event called "Treklanta" later this year, but no decisions have been made and all options are on the table.  The event may or may not be held at the Marriott; it may or may not be a full three-day event; it may or may not be possible to bring all of our previously announced guests of honor to the event.  We have a lot of work to do in the coming weeks and months, and what form and shape this year's convention eventually take remain to be seen.

We expect that some of our valued attendees who preregistered will request refunds, and we will honor those requests to the best of our ability, but please keep in mind that because we have incurred numerous costs and paid several business expenses in the last three months, such as marketing materials, corporate registration, post office box rental, domain name service, etc., we would be unable to refund EVERY preregistered membership.  We respectfully request, to whatever extent possible, that if you believe you will still attend Treklanta on whatever new date later this year that we decide, you allow us to keep your payment so that we can continue to operate as a business and pay our bills in the meantime.  Your understanding and cooperation would be tremendously appreciated.

Please check back here and follow us on Facebook for future news, announcements and updates regarding plans for Treklanta 2020, to be held later this year.  In the meantime, stay safe, wear masks, keep your distance and wash your hands.  We will get through this together.
